JLG is proud to announce 4 new Reading Levels
Junior Library Guild
Junior Library Guild is a unique service that provides libraries with new-release children’s books from the lists of the foremost children’s publishers at a discount of up to 55% off the publishers’ prices.
Our members can choose from twenty-eight reading levels that cover preschool through high school, including two nonfiction levels and two sports-themed levels. The only requirement for membership is to sign up for one or more reading levels.
Members are notified in advance of the titles we will be shipping and receive the books at a rate of one per month per reading level ordered throughout the year. As a member you will receive our semi-annual Resource Catalog, which includes detailed, up-to-date biographies of the authors and artists (a JLG exclusive), as well as curriculum indications and Dewey classification(download printable PDFs of our catalogs and flyers here).
Our editors read over 3,000 submissions annually to make the selections for the JLG list. They focus on selecting books that will offer children and young adults a positive reading experience.
Nearly 100% of the selections receive favorable reviews or win major awards.
