On today’s webcast Susan Gall and Kayleigh Hanlin talked about best practices for getting the facts and shared some of the fall forthcoming books for grades 3-12.

Kayleigh shared some amazing facts about the construction of Fallingwater, the tribulations of explorers, and wonders of artists from our many nonfiction categories. Susan demonstrated the easy-to-use search features of FactCite. Remember that the earlier you introduce kids to online research, the more proficient your learners become. Give them engaging nonfiction to whet their appetite or scaffold their background and you’ve got a reader/writer in the making.

FactCite Online is an award-winning, affordable, and comprehensive collection of online databases that provides resources for patrons to learn beyond the book. Be sure to follow up with Susan about how to get your free trial subscription to FactCite.
