Thank you to everyone who submitted a book trailer for our contest. There were so many great entries. We were impressed with the creativity of the entries and the time and energy put into the finished videos. Librarians across the country have voted, and we have winners. Congratulations! Keep reading to see who won and watch their videos.

It's January and the highlight of children's book publishing season is just days away. Many of you are already in Boston for the Big Event (or hopefully safely on your way). On Monday morning at 8AM EST, the doors will open and the suspense will soon be over. Watch the Live Webcast here. Someone asked me the other day what I thought would win. Honestly, I've gotten my head buried in 2016 already. (With three imminent webcasts and a little bit of down time off the road, I've got to think ahead when I can.) This week I'm attending a conference. It starts tonight and ends on Sunday. I haven't bought a plane ticket. I haven't booked a room. I haven't packed a thing! Seriously? It starts today! Why haven't I done anything to go to the conference? For once, I don't have to do any of those things. The conference is here in Columbus. I'll spend the next few days driving downtown to attend our AASL conference. What do I have on my agenda? What might you look forward to seeing in our town?

Roger Sutton once made fun of me for coming to a board meeting with my possessions in a backpack. "What are you, like, fourteen?" he asked.
