All the Way to Lhasa: A Tale from Tibet

In this retelling of a trraditional parable, an old lady sits beside the road to Lhasa, the holy city of Tibet. A traveler on horseback asks her the distance to the city. "Very far," she says, "you’ll never make it there before night." Nevertheless, the rider gives his horse a kick and hurries away.
