Counting on Grace

One by one, French Johnny comes for the biggest kids in school and brings them to work at the textile mill. Even though Grace is only twelve and a good student, she is eager to earn the extra money that her family badly needs. Then the photographer Lewis Hine comes to her Vermont town to secretly document the underage children working in the mill.
