Interrupted Journey

In November and December, volunteers like ten-year-old Max Nolan and his mother walk the beaches of Cape Cod looking for Kemp’s ridley turtles stunned by the cold. This book follows the progress of one such turtle: from discovery, to an examination at the local wildlife sanctuary, to transportation to the New England Aquarium for medical care, and eventually to being released in the Florida Bay.
