Joe and Sparky Get New Wheels

Friends Joe the giraffe and Sparky the turtle live in Safari Land, "the famous cage-less zoo." Joe is adventurous, always wanting "to see the world." Sparky, on the other hand, prefers to stay close to home and spend time in his pond. One day, Joe sees a yellow car and assumes it's the prize for a contest he entered. He and Sparky hop in and drive to the mall, a burger joint, and a theme park, causing a hubbub everywhere they go. After all the excitement outside the zoo's gates, home starts to feel more inviting than ever. Full-color watercolor and Prismacolor pencil illustrations.
