Martin is not feeling very lucky. First his teacher assigns Gibson to Martin's group and tells the class that for this year's science project they will be graded on hard work and team effort. "Hard work" and "team effort" are not terms that Martin would use to describe Gibson. Then Martin finally gets a brandnew bike, only to have it stolen the very first time he rides it.
