Odysseus in the Serpent Maze

This novel imagines what Odysseus and other characters from Greek mythology might have been like before they appeared in the Odyssey and the Iliad. On the way home from a vacation, thirteen-year-old Odysseus and his best friend, Mentor, are captured by pirates. Their fellow prisoners are Helen, a princess from Sparta, and her cousin Penelope.
