Sixty-nine million years ago: A baby pteranodon is born. Its mother hunts for fish to feed it and the other hatchlings while its father fights off predators. As the baby pteranodon grows and learns to fly, it learns to fend for itself, narrowly avoiding hungry elasmosaurs that stretch up from the water.
