Secret in St. Something

In turn-of-the-century New York, eleven-year-old Robin bundles up his baby brother, Danny, and runs away from their villainous stepfather. Robin plans to leave Danny on the steps of a church with the hope that his brother will be taken in by a loving family. Then, Robin encounters four "street boys" secretly living in the basement of the church, and they decide to work together to care for Danny themselves.
