Slob

Owen Birnbaum is "fatter and smarter" than most twelve-year-olds, and his middle-school classmates bully him. At home, his younger sister has been acting strange, and Owen often fights with his mother about dieting. The one thing he looks forward to each day is eating the Oreos in his lunch, and lately someone's been stealing them. Owen is determined to catch the culprit, but when he can't manage even that, he worries he's incapable of doing more complex, important things-like completing the mysterious invention that he's certain will improve his life.
