The Cannibals

Wrongfully imprisoned on a ship bound for Australia, Tom Tin makes a daring escape with his devoted friend Midgeley, whose memory of an old travel book is their only guide. They plan to reunite with Tom's father, the ship's captain, on a remote island and sail back to London. The waters of the South Pacific prove more treacherous than they could have imagined, however, and the boys are soon face-to-face with cannibals, headhunters, and pirates. Author's note.
