The Duel: The Parallel Lives of Alexander Hamilton & Aaron Burr

The most famous duel in American history took place on July 11, 1804, between two renowned politicians, Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. Despite many similarities in their lives (they both were orphaned at a young age, attended the same college, and served under General Washington), Hamilton and Burr often disagreed with each other and sometimes used each other to achieve personal ends.
