The Roar

Twelve-year-old Ellie Smith is trapped in a space station orbiting Earth, having been kidnapped by evil Mal Gorman. Her parents think she's dead, but her twin brother, Mika, is certain she is alive. Back on Earth, in the slums of a futuristic London, Mika fights a losing battle against his paranoia: he is sure that the world has become one large government conspiracy. A video-game competition could bring the twins back together-but only if Mika and his friends are clever enough to uncover a secret that will put the lie to everything they have ever been taught.
