Details

An idle conversation about the possibilities of time travel leads Tane and his best friend Rebecca to search transmissions from the depths of space for information sent from the future. After decoding the data, they discover an urgent SOS from their future selves. The messages tell Tane and Rebecca that they must stop a deadly plague. The pair, joined by Tane's older brother, travel through New Zealand by plane, submarine, and helicopter, escaping from military commandos and trying to determine the nature of a strange mist that is killing all humans in its path.
