Zoey doesn't even know she has a grandmother until the day she and her mother go to visit. Hazel is welcoming, but soon Hazel and Zoey's mother begin to argue. Zoey escapes upstairs, where she finds a dollhouse with a tiny china doll inside. When a tear drops from Zoey's eye onto the doll, it sneezes and comes to life! Insisting she's a princess, the doll offends Zoey by calling her a "big, ugly servant," but Zoey decides that a talking doll is amazing. Who cares what she says! Black-and-white illustrations.
