The Witch’s Walking Stick

A mean old witch’s magic walking stick is bent and worn but still has a few wishes left. One day the witch waves it at a passing dog, thinking to change him into a cat. Instead the dog grabs the stick and runs away. The witch cons a girl named Margaret into finding it for her. But Margaret, whose life has been miserable up till now, has a few wishes of her own.
