Now Stosh’s old nemesis Bobby Fuller has a strange request: take him back in time to see Jim Thorpe, his great-grandfather. Stosh doesn’t want to do what Bobby asks, but when Stosh looks up the tragic story of Thorpe’s downfall after his Olympic medals were unfairly stripped from him, he agrees. The boys travel back and meet a depressed Thorpe in 1931, which is too late to change Thorpe’s life for the better. The boys travel back to the present, obtain a 1912 Jim Thorpe card, and meet Thorpe in his younger years.
