Lucky: Maris, Mantle, and My Best Summer Ever

1961: The home run race between New York Yankees Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris is heating up. Louis, an unathletic twelve-year-old baseball obsessive, doesn't realize he'll be a part of it when he attends a Yankees game with his dad. In the ninth inning, he makes an unbelievable catch from the stands, inadvertently turning an out for Maris into a mere foul ball and a close game into a Yankees win. Soon, Louis is face-to-face with his idols, Maris and Mantle, and has two new titles: batboy for the Yankees, and luckiest kid in the world.
