JLG Access & Enrichment Grant

Here at JLG we are committed to getting the best new books into the hands of young readers and students. We are strong advocates for quality literature and understand the difference it can make in a child’s life. Every library has the power to positively impact its readers—no matter the resources available—and that is why we’ve created the JLG Access and Enrichment Grant: to support the unique collection development needs of your library.

Scholarship winners will receive: 

• A one-year JLG subscription worth $5,000. 
• A one-year print subscription for Library Journal or School Library Journal.
• Two online subscriptions for Library Journal and School Library Journal.
• Two complimentary seats to any online professional development course within one year of the date awarded.  

2024 Submission deadlines 

• Fall submissions are due by Friday, September 6, 2024.  
• Winter submissions are due by Friday, December 6, 2024.  

*Winning libraries will be contacted individually. 

Criteria for selection 

The winners of this scholarship will be chosen after considering a wide array of criteria. This includes your schools funding, general need, impact from natural disasters, and more. To nominate your school, follow this link to our selection questionnaire.
