JLG Selections Shine in 2021 Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards

By: Rhonda Mihalic | June 24, 2021 |

Every year since 1967, the Boston Globe and The Horn Book, Inc. have partnered to celebrate excellence in children's and young adult literature with the Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards. These prestigious awards are bestowed upon outstanding selections in 3 categories: Picture Books, Fiction & Poetry, and Nonfiction.

This year we are proud to announce that JLG Gold Standard Selections swept all 3 categories—and took home 5 out of the 6 honor-book designations as well!

Congratulations to these JLG authors and illustrators whose works not only have captured the attention and engagement of young and young-adult readers, but the admiration and appreciation of the esteemed 2021 Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards judges.
